Hi, I’m Jake — a researcher and writer at Harvard Business School, where I co-author case studies with Professor Rosabeth Moss Kanter on how cities, startups, and global companies are driving innovation in climate tech and sustainability.

Our latest project, “Seattle’s Climate Pledge Arena – Ticket to a Greener Future”, explores the world’s first net-zero carbon sports and entertainment venue. I’ve also led research on renewables, electric vehicles, carbon capture, and more.

I earned my B.A. in International Studies from the University of Michigan, where I co-founded and brand-developed the Michigan Hockey League — the university’s premier program with over 200 student-players and a home at Yost Arena.

I’m currently based in Boston and excited for my next chapter in New York City. I’m eager to learn, create, impact, and inspire in my next role.

After hours, I play ice hockey and post movie reviews on Letterboxd. I'm currently working on my first startup. I’m born and raised in Buffalo, New York - so to conclude here, Go Bills!
